The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) wanted an integrated Facility Identification system and a Node that included a flow to EPA’s FRS system. Windsor Solutions modified two existing systems for KDHE—the Facility Identification system it first developed for the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality and the Node it implemented at the Washington Department of Ecology. The browser-based Facility Identification system was developed in a .NET environment, works with an Oracle 9.2i database, and features GIS capabilities supported by ArcIMS and SDE. The Node was modified to work with an Oracle database.

Results that Reward

Windsor's Facility Identification system uses ERSI's ArcWeb services to perform address cleansing and geo-coding on data extracted from source systems before sending the data to the user application—helping to reconcile duplicate data.
