Building on the success of its Construction Stormwater implementation in Windsor's nVIRO solution, IDEM (Indiana Department of Environmental Management) chose to expand its use of the platform to incorporate its Wetlands program into its Regulatory ePortal. Before nVIRO, the Wetlands program relied on paper-based processes, spreadsheets, and data stored across systems, making it difficult to manage permitting activities and maintain a clear picture of program information.

Working with IDEM, Windsor configured nVIRO to support wetlands permitting, compliance, and mitigation tracking as part of the Regulatory ePortal. This implementation brought permit applications, extensions, and modifications together with inspections and enforcement activities into a single environment — giving staff a more efficient way to manage program work and external users a portal to submit applications, track status, and access information.
